Experience
I have taken many writing and reading courses as a communications major and feel fit to help others learn skills needed to read and write. I've taken classes such as Advanced Writing (earned an A in the course) and various courses involving intensive writing and reading. I would love to be a tutor to give others the opportunity to learn and grow just as I am doing in a new country. I participated in collegiate rowing for the past four years so I understand the value of teamwork and helping others reach their goals. I am very good at time management as I was able to perform well in school while managing a 20 hour/week practice schedule on top of internships and course work. While on the rowing team I was also the on-campus ambassador for a program that matches children with illnesses/diseases with a college athletics team. Through this program I got to know some incredible kids and their families and really enjoyed working with them.
