Chloe P.
Private tutor in Sevilla, Spain
Education
Anthropology B.S. from UCLA, 3.95 GPA. Graduated 2014. Duke University School of Medicine, entering 2015.
Experience
I deferred from medical school for a year and am spending my time off living in South Africa and Spain and traveling around the world. I don't know what kind of doctor I want to be, but I'm trying to use this year to gain more exposure to medical practices in different countries. As for qualifications: I was valedictorian of my high school class and scored 5's on all 10 AP tests I took, as well as a 2350 on my SAT. I was a Regents Scholar at UCLA and scored a 38 on my MCAT. I have extensive tutoring experience in subjects ranging from math to Spanish. During college I worked as an EMT for three years, including as a Field Training Officer, and for two years I taught clinical skills to first year medical students at UCLA Med School. My schedule is extremely open and flexible and I'm willing to work around school hours.

Hobbies
I worked hard in school but by no means spent all my time studying. I'm an adventurous person by nature, and I love traveling and getting lost in foreign cities. I'm also a big outdoors person and enjoy backpacking trips, river rafting, snorkeling, etc. Other than that, some of my interests include reading for hours on end, food (both cooking and eating!), hockey (watching, not playing unfortunately), and photography.
